HAC Class Hosts Student Events
By: Cooper Lee
The HAC Department’s COM 253 Event Planning and Promotion plan and host two campus events every year.
The first event was a Scary Movie Night Festival, hosted by one of the groups, on October 25 in Fabiani Theater. The group had a showing of “The Invisible Man,” accented by a festival style atmosphere. Greek life organizations had their own booths that provided food, from hot chocolate to soft pretzels. The festivities began at 7:30PM and the screening started at 8:00PM.
The second group will be hosting a campus art show at the T. Furth Center on November 10, from 5:30PM to 8PM. Food and refreshments will be provided Bon Appetit on the 10th, opening night, and the artists will be there to talk about their work. The artists are comprised of both students and faculty. An array of mediums will be on view.
These student events are open to all, showing off the wonderful student initiative within the HAC Department and greater campus.
