Join us as we celebrate 141 years of Trine University with 1,884 minutes of giving, honoring our founding year of 1884. From April 25 through 11:59 p.m. on April 26, alumni, friends, and supporters are invited to make a difference by giving back to the areas that mean the most to them—whether it’s scholarships, academic programs, athletic teams, or student organizations. This year, we’re aiming to raise $188,400 for the Trine Fund and $1,884 for each athletic team. - Founded in 1884 as Tri-State Normal College, Trine University has been a leader in education for over 140 years.
- Enrollment has more than tripled since 2000, reflecting our commitment to growth, innovation, and student success.
- In 2008, we became Trine University, honoring the legacy and contributions of Drs. Ralph and Sheri Trine.
- Our campus has expanded significantly, with more than $176 million invested in building projects since 2000.
On Trine Day, we encourage everyone to show their Trine Pride and support our mission. Here are some fun ways to get involved:
- Make a Donation: Every gift, big or small, makes a difference. Your support helps us provide scholarships, enhance campus facilities, and create new opportunities for our students.

Show your Trine pride and help spread the word by taking part in the #TrineDay Selfie Challenge! Whether you’re on campus, at work, or repping Trine from afar, snap a selfie in your Trine gear or with a Trine Day sign, and share it on social media using #TrineDay.
