Andrew Myers says the Ketner School of Business does "an amazing job" equipping students with the tools and opportunities to succeed, lead and serve upon graduation, but he also had to take some initiative.

"It was when I decided to pick up those tools and step out of my comfort zone, that I began to grow and make a name for myself," he said.

He used those tools to land an internship with the University of Toledo and network with many professionals in the sports industry. He also won the Fort Wayne Mad Ants Sales competition and Trine University's annual Innovation Challenge, and gave a business proposal to the Sales Manager and CFO of the Indianapolis Colts. He also was able to lock down and keep a job with the Detroit Pistons during the COVID-19 pandemic that rocked the sports world.
