FORT WAYNE — Parkview Health and Trine University will offer a free webinar on Tuesday,
Feb. 10, for students interested in the Parkview Academy of Surgical Technology program
hosted at the university’s Brooks College of Health Professions.
The webinar will run on Microsoft Teams from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
The Parkview Academy is a unique surgical technology academy program that tightens
connections between training and the workplace. Its program is built to support learners
with a schedule and program that incorporates working and learning.
The program also provides opportunities for financial support toward students’ surgical
technology education.
Libby Laker, assistant director of recruitment and student engagement at Trine’s Brooks
College of Health Professions, will speak about Trine’s surgical technology program.
Zachary Goodwin, perioperative clinical nursing director for Parkview Health, will
discuss the support, resources and opportunities available through the Parkview Academy.
There also will be time for questions and answers from attendees.
