As high schoolers return to class and students attending colleges outside northeast Indiana move away to campus, Trine University invites local businesses to recruit for positions at its annual Part-Time Job Fair.
The event will be held inside the university’s Rick L. and Vicki L. James University Center from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2.
Students on Trine’s Angola campus represent more than 40 undergraduate majors in engineering and computing, business, education, health sciences and arts and sciences.
“The fair allows employers to build their part-time workforce while building a relationship with the Trine community, with the potential to eventually collaborate on senior projects or hire students full-time after they graduate,” said Michelle Young, career coach and industry liaison.

Eight faculty from Trine University’s Allen School of Engineering and Computing recently participated in the American Society for Engineering Education’s (ASEE) annual conference, with several publishing and presenting papers.
A digital marketing campaign developed and executed by a team member in Trine University’s Office of Marketing and Communications has been honored among the recipients of the 2026 Circle of Excellence Awards, announced by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education on July 1.
