All Trine ASN graduates pass licensure exam

February 09, 2026

Trine University’s first cohort of Associate of Science in nursing (ASN) graduates had a perfect 100% pass rate on their National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for registered nurses.

“This is a remarkable achievement for our students and a testament to the exceptional commitment of the faculty who supported them every step of the way,” said Angel Jennings, Ph.D., executive director of nursing at Trine.

“We’re proud of these pioneering nursing graduates and look forward to the impact they will have as they succeed, lead and serve as nurses.”

Trine presented degrees to its first ASN graduates in December. The program launched in 2023 in partnership with Cameron Health, with classes held in the Joyce and Al Gutstein Education Innovation Center on Cameron’s campus as well as on Trine’s Angola campus.

Trine began expanded the ASN program to its Brooks College of Health Professions facility in Fort Wayne this past fall.

Trine’s ASN program

Offering personal attention, practical experience and state-of-the-art facilities, Trine’s ASN program graduates nurses who are equipped with the nursing knowledge and critical thinking and reasoning skills to provide safe, compassionate, patient-centric holistic care to diverse populations while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

The ASN equips graduates to work as registered nurses upon passing the NCLEX exam, and prepares those who wish to continue on to more advanced degrees such as Trine University’s RN-BSN and MSN programs.
