The Trine University Chamber Orchestra, directed by Music Department Director Brad
Jopek, DMA, will hold its spring concert on Sunday, April 13, at 3 p.m. in the Ryan
Concert Hall of the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.
The concert is free and open to the public.
Titled “Folk Dances,” the concert will feature:
- “Overture in the Classical Style” by L. C. Harnsberger
- “Adoration” by Florence Price, arranged by Jordan Roberts
- Selections from “Norwegian Dances, Op. 35” by Edvard Grieg, arranged by Merle Isaac
- “Planxty” by Shirl Jae Atwell
- “Apollo-Marsch” by Josephine Lang, arranged by Josh Trentadue
- “Down a Country Lane” by Aaron Copland
- “City Nights” by Bob Cerulli
Chamber orchestra members are:
Violin I: Keira Wilson, an exercise science major from Elkhart, Indiana; Mallory Wood,
a psychology major from Goshen, Indiana; and community member Jonathan Rupp.
Violin II: Allayna Gue, an elementary education major from Portage, Indiana; John
Hermann, a mechatronics and robotics engineering major from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan;
Sudeep Iyer, a chemical engineering major from India; Landon Murdock, a mechanical
engineering major from Fort Wayne, Indiana; and community member Megan Knowlton.
Viola: Micaela Downs, a biology major from Westport, Indiana; and Makena Kretz, a
forensic science major from Portage, Indiana.
Cello: Cheyanne O’Dell, a general studies major from Angola, Indiana; Hannah Slagle,

Flute: Madysen Collins, a forensic science major from Kouts, Indiana; Mykah Garrison,
a psychology major from Wauseon, Ohio; Holly Laney, a chemical engineering major from
