Trine education has helped Wasif ur Rehman manage technology

Wasif ur Rehman first heard of Trine University through an online search that led him to the university website.

He decided to enroll at Trine because he felt it was prestigious, yet affordable. He appreciated the programs offered in a hybrid format.

In fact, he liked the programs so much that he has earned three master’s degrees at Trine: an MBA and master’s degrees in information science and business analytics.

He now has been admitted to the university’s Doctor of Information Technology degree program.

Wasif also has earned multiple professional certifications through his degree programs, including Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Juniper JNCIS-ER and Juniper JNCIA-ER.

“The degrees and certifications have taught me a lot about corporate procedures and communication,” he said.

The knowledge he has gain has benefitted Wasif in his role as a project manager at US Gas & Electric. He has successfully implemented multiple technology projects, including large-scale enterprise technology infrastructure, information management systems and project portfolio management, at the company.

He hopes to apply all that he has learned as he continues to manage a corporate portfolio of leading technical projects.

“Through my degrees at Trine, I have enhanced my knowledge about enterprise systems, corporate procedures, communication strategies, business processes, expert technical knowledge and leadership skills,” he said.
