For the first time in recent memory, it rained at Trine University’s Alumni & Friends Scholarship Golf Outing, but more than 200 dedicated golfers stayed on the course to raise money for student scholarships.
Held Friday, Aug. 2, at Zollner Golf Course, the 34th annual event drew 218 golfers and raised nearly $100,000.
“We are so grateful for everyone who made the effort to support this outing in less-than-ideal golfing conditions. It really shows how dedicated our Trine family is to helping deserving students achieve their career and life goals,” said Clare Danner, director of alumni relations. “We are also grateful for the many people and organizations who supported the event by other means. Thank you to everyone who made an impact.”
