Trine interns relish opportunities at Zimmer Biomet
Trine University biomedical engineering majors completed internships with medical device giant Zimmer Biomet this past summer.

Trine University Theatre will perform “Arsenic and Old Lace” this fall.
Show dates for this classic dark comedy are: 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, in the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts. Cast members have been selected and rehearsals have begun for the performance.
“Arsenic and Old Lace,” written by Joseph Kesselring in 1939, is a dark comedy centered around Mortimer Brewster. Mortimer is a man living a happy life with a steady job and a new fiancé, until he visits his sweet, unassuming spinster aunts to announce his engagement. Although regarded as kind old ladies, there is more to Mortimer Brewster’s aunts than originally assumed. Brewster must battle the sinister plans of his aunts, combat his maniacal brother and protect his fiancé, all while keeping his own sanity intact.

Jonathan Brewster – Sean Carpenter, a mechanical engineering major from Fort Wayne, Indiana
Dr. Einstein – Muriel Mackie, a marketing major from Hillsdale, Michigan
Teddy Brewster – Benton Knox, a mechanical engineering major from Indianapolis
Rev. Dr. Harper – Parker Tillmon, a psychology major from Sturgis, Michigan
Officer O’Hara – Michael Smith, assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics
Officer Brophy – Andie Mendoza, a biomedical engineering major from LaGrange, Indiana
Officer Kline – Tyler Kreider, a biology major from Trafalgar, Indiana
