The Communication Major

Experience both theory and hands-on-practice from day one. Each year of the communication major is tailored with coursework that builds you into an effective communicator in multiple media. Four Years of Focused Training

Your first day of freshman year is your first day of a new job. Every new COM major is "hired" by the Trine Broadcast Network in a series of practical courses that culminate in a portfolio of professional work, making you ready for the workforce upon graduation. You will gain experience working as a production assistant, content writer, videographer, photographer, broadcaster, event planner, and more.
