My journey in healthcare started in 2016 when I obtained my Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. This initial step ignited my passion for patient care, leading me to pursue further education in paramedic science. Graduating from Ivy Tech with an associate degree in paramedic science in 2019, I joined Steuben County EMS, where I discovered my love for medicine and patient care in this community. With the desire to expand my knowledge and capabilities, I obtained my bachelor's degree in biology from Trine University in 2024.

Returning to Trine University, I am eager to contribute to the students’ academic and clinical experiences. It is a privilege to be back in this small, beautiful community. I also remain actively involved with Steuben County EMS and hope to continue to provide care and support.

Outside of work and school, I enjoy time spent with my husband and our two children and two dogs. We enjoy long hikes and going to a variety of museums.
