I have been teaching at Trine for almost a decade now. I love working here and interacting with my students. I am a graduate of the University of Toledo, where my research focus was in the area of smart materials, including piezoceramics and magnetorheological (MR) fluids. My studies benefitted from being a recipient of Master’s and Doctoral Fellowships from the Ohio Space Grant Consortium, a program administered by the Ohio Aerospace Institute and NASA.
I am the faculty advisor for the Trine Newman Catholic Fellowship and an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, where my wife, Cara, is the Director of Youth Ministry. I am a native of northwest Ohio and an Eagle Scout, and I enjoy hiking, camping, swimming, playing cards (especially euchre), solving Rubik’s cubes of all sizes, and watching The Simpsons and The Big Bang Theory.
