I’m a native of Fort Wayne (FW), born and raised in the Three Rivers city! I'm known in my community as a civic minded, business leader, and educational professional. I'm a believer of academic achievement with a Bachelor’s in Journalism, Master’s in Business Administration, and a Doctorate in Global Leadership.

My higher education work experience includes being the former Director of Online Credit and Programs at Purdue FW; Business Faculty Program Lead at Martin University; Assistant Professor of Marketing previously here at Trine University; and, a Store Manager for several big box retailers including Walmart and Kmart.

I have extensive experience in retail management, employee engagement, conflict resolution, post-secondary education, student enrichment, and community leadership. Some of my community involvement has included participating in Indiana’s Hoosier Women Forward (HWF); Advancing Voices of Women (AVOW); Leadership Fort Wayne; City of Fort Wayne Mayoral Ethics Committee; past President of Fort Wayne Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and, Vincennes University Early College Programs Post-Doctoral Fellowship.
