I have taught mathematics, informatics, computer science and computer engineering at Trine since January 2002. My background is in telephony, with experience at AT&T, GTE, and Verizon as a systems engineer, systems analyst, programmer and systems consultant.
I earned my Ph.D. in technology management from Indiana State University. My research interest is digital communication systems, specifically wireless security and mesh networks. In addition, I have done computer system consulting for small office/home office customers since 1992.
My wife and I have called Angola home since 1991. We have two married daughters and four grandchildren. The older daughter is a web designer. The younger daughter is a first-grade teacher. We have also hosted exchange students from Brazil and Germany.
For fun, we camp and go off–road in our Jeeps. I also am active in the international British car community and was the registrar for the 1962-1965 models for the North American MGB Register of the MG Car Club of England.
