Trine University has opened its application for students wishing to enroll as undergraduates
at its Angola campus for the fall 2027 semester.
The application is available at trine.link/apply27.
Trine University remains test optional for admission, meaning ACT and SAT scores are
not required for traditional undergraduate students seeking admission to Trine.
“Standardized scores don’t provide a complete picture for many students, particularly
those from under-resourced schools or communities affected by testing access,” said
Kim Bennett, vice president for enrollment management. “At Trine, we evaluate applications
based on the whole student, including academic performance, course rigor, personal
achievements and community involvement.”
Applicants who are able to take the ACT or SAT may submit scores if they choose, but
those scores will be considered as only part of their overall academic record.
Trine is a rolling admission school, but students who apply early are able to find
out more quickly which scholarships, grants and other financial aid they qualify for.
Trine continues to keep a quality, private education affordable for deserving students.
More than 99% of Trine students receive some type of financial aid, with the average
student receiving a total package of more than $38,000 each year.
In addition to generous scholarships and financial aid, Trine University continues
to invest in innovative programs and practical experiences that help students succeed
both during college and after graduation. Students benefit from hands-on learning,
internship opportunities, undergraduate research, study abroad experiences and close
connections with faculty and industry partners.
"Students and families want to know that their college experience will prepare them
for a successful career, and Trine University has proven that with 13 years of near-perfect
employment for our graduates,” said Bennett “Our laser focus on real-world learning,
personalized support and career readiness continues to equip our students to lead,
succeed and serve."
Trine University encourages students and families to visit campus early in their college
search process. Through individual visits, preview days and special events, prospective
students can meet faculty, tour residence halls and academic facilities and experience
firsthand what makes the Trine community special.
There is no cost to apply to Trine, and the university also accepts the convenient
Common App. Students who apply to Trine University will typically receive an admission
decision within three weeks once the review process begins in August.
